Philip Kaveny has 35 years of film, radio, television, theatre and writing experience. In 1998 he successfully defended his dissertation, Embodied Debates which was written as a play at The University of Wisconsin Madison. In addition Kaveny is prolific short story and novella writer having it least three dozen publications in the same period. Though Kaveny has a number of advanced degree, he is presently non-traditional student in Religious Studies at The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He view art as the medium through which the deepest religious and philosophical truths articulate themselves, and argues that a simple profession of disbelief does not make the eternal questions go away. Kaveny believes on the deepest level that there is a god shaped hole in postmodernism. Kaveny wrote Fenris Unchained before he studied its Mythic base, which really worked its way out through him. |
